Bag o' Cords

This afternoon, I strong-armed Sweetie into going through a couple of the drawers in our workbench. They're huge and full of miscellaneous junk. We filled a grocery bag with unneeded cords and connectors and now the drawers are tidy. If you need an adapter or extension cord or flashlight, you can easily find one.

Whew!

As you know, we also have a collection of outdated cords and electronic stuff. Anyone know where to recycle in King County?

Great job on the declutter! What did you do with them?

I love your blog. I was born super neat. I forced myself to chill because I noticed the perfectionism was very stressful,, and I now am swamped. This did not happen overnight. Do you know of anyone else who developed this clutter, after being a perfectionist? I think I've read about it--it makes sense to me...some people really are comfy with clutter...others are truly not, but when you're not comfortable with clutter it stresses you out soooo much to undo it, that that becomes the problem. How can I deal with this particular stress?

Well done. I suggest labelling all cords, chargers etc as you acquire them so you know which gadget or gizmo they're for.
