We got a Roomba!
Yes, Santa brought us a lovely iRobot Roomba 400 this year. We've been playing with it, and figuring out what changes need to be made to accomodate its functionality. We had to tie up some electrical cords, and the rugs with tassles will need some adjustment--I may just swap them out for others. I do that seasonally anyway.

This is something I have considered getting. We don't have carpeting just a couple rugs. How well does it work on uncarpeted floors?
The model we have is designed for hard floors and/or area rugs. Our house is mostly hardwood floors, with area rugs in the living room, kids' room and hallway. We did have to swap out the living room rug for one without tassels and I haven't yet tried the Roomba on the replacement rug.
